Outfit + makeup + vlog Pasarela Latin Trends

[ezcol_1half]In the middle of the season of fashion shows in Chile, I was invited to World Latin Trends an international event which was celebrating its five anniversary. Its purpose is to internationalize latin american brands, working with fashion designers from Argentina, Peru, Colombia, México and Chile. And besides the fashion show, this year they brought special talks, workshops and a fashion Bazar that lasted almost a week.[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]En medio de la temporada de desfiles de moda en Chile, me invitaron al World Latin Trends, evento internacional que se celebró su aniversario número cinco. Su objetivo es internacionalizar marcas latinoamericanos, trabajando con diseñadores de Argentina, Perú, Colombia, México y Chile. Y además el desfile de moda, este año trajeron charlas especiales, talleres y un bazar de moda que duró casi una semana.[/ezcol_1half_end]

I wore a simple -but pretty chic- outfit cuz I didn’t had time to plan or buy something. I used this black dress that I’ve never used before paired with a gray duster, I feel that dusters and long coats give outfits an elegant touch. As usual I was wearing some gold details with my shoes and for accessories I used a black choker and my hair straight in a pony tail.

Use un conjunto sencillo -pero bastante chic- porque no tuve tiempo para planear o comprar algo. Use este vestido negro que nunca había usado junto con un saco gris, siento que los sacos largos dan un toque super elegante. Como de costumbre usé algunos detalles dorados en los zapatos y para accesorios use un choker negro con mi pelo lacio en una cola de caballo.

[ezcol_1half]For makeup I needed to make something quick and easy because I was running late, so I did this simple but bold makeup that complemented really well the outfit and final look. The dark lips are always a statement and help create a cool vibe around the complete look, like another accessory.[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]Para el maquillaje tenía que hacer algo rápido y fácil, porque era tarde, así que hice este look simple pero audaz que complementa muy bien el outfit y el look final. Los labios oscuros son siempre un statement y ayudan a crear una onda cool alrededor del look, como si fuera otro accesorio.[/ezcol_1half_end]

You know I love to do reviews about the collections, but in this occasion it was impossible to me to enjoy and watch the show, that’s why I’m just doing a wrap up. I arrived late to the event, but the main problem was that it was super crowded and I wasn’t able to get a good sit or even a good standing spot to watch the show and see the complete outfits.

Ya saben que me gusta hacer comentarios sobre las colecciones, pero en esta ocasión fue imposible para mí para disfrutar y ver el show, por eso estoy haciendo solo una recapitulación. Llegué tarde al evento, pero problema principal fue que estaba muy lleno y no fui capaz de encontrar una asiento o incluso un buen lugar para ver la pasarela de pie y poder ver los looks completos.

Without a doubt Meche Corral was the star of the night, every one was raving about her. I actually arrived at the middle of her presentation and I loved what I saw, it was AMAZING, but I also loved Pampa Corral and Juan Hernandez Daels. Though I didn’t completely enjoyed the event, I’m glad to be part of this movement and get to know more about latin fashion and its designers. Hopefully next year or in another occasion I’ll be able to make an appropriate review like the ones from the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Chile or Santiago Fashion Week.

Sin lugar a dudas Meche Corral fue la estrella de la noche, todos estaban super entusiasmados con su colección. Y yo de hecho llegué a la mitad de su presentación y me encantó lo que vi, también me encantó Pampa Corral y Juan Hernández Daels. Aunque no disfruté por completo el evento, estoy feliz de poder ser parte de estos movimientos y llegar a conocer más acerca de la moda latina y sus creadores. Esperemos que el próximo año o en otra ocasión sea capaz de hacer un análisis adecuado así como en el Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Chile o el Santiago Fashion Week.
