Black & red –
Aunque siento que el negro está un poco sobrevalorado, también creo que es la salvación para muchos casos, especialmente para looks poderosos que se pueden usar en diversas situaciones. No me preocupan las líneas duras, no me importa si mi silueta cambia, ¿y si no puedes encontrar mi cintura? Eso no es importante. La mayoría de las veces me encanta vestirme para crear nuevas líneas, jugar con los bordes de mi cuerpo y desafiar todas las reglas y expectativas sobre cómo debería verse mi cuerpo.
Para esos días en los que necesitas sentirte poderoso, imponente y en control, encuentro que las líneas rectas funcionan perfectamente, dan equilibrio, trayecto y fuerza. Pero, por supuesto, siempre es divertido contrarrestarlo con diferentes figuras, como un bolso semicircular o un par de aretes que pueden agregar movimiento al look creando una composición más interesante.

Even though I feel black is a little overrated I also think is a savior for a lot of cases, specially for powerful looks that can be used in diverse situations. I don’t mind the harsh lines, I don’t care if my silhouette changes, if you can’t find my waistline I don’t care, because you know? That isn’t important. Most of the time I love dressing up to create new lines, to play around with the edges of my body and defy all rules and expectations about how my body should look.
For those days when you need to feel powerful, imposing and in control I find straight lines work perfectly, they give balance, path and force. But of course is always fun to counter it with different figures, such a flowy loop handbag or a pair of earrings that can add movement to the look creating an interesting composition.
