A red coat for a monochrome winter

-IMG_9202 copy aIMG_9264 copy2 aIMG_9357 copyFor me, walking around the city and seeing gray, black and brownish colors is really normal and comprehensive. My style has been really influenced by Mexico and U.S.A. I’ve been living in that mix between my colorful culture and the free style careless from L.A.

[ezcol_2third_end]Lately I’ve read and heard a lot of chileans complaining about the lack of color in the city this season and I find it so funny because the answer is so obvious, to begin with stores don’t carry colorful clothing on fall/winter season because designers get inspired with the surroundings, and if I’m not wrong f/w season is not that colorful, also, old habits die hard, you can’t expect a whole country to change the color of their closet just because you want to.

So it’s not such a big deal for me wearing something more colorful in winter season, because is just what it is. I think there’s nothing wrong with camouflaging with the cities weather and neither with looking like a rainbow between a gray bunch of people. I try to keep it in the middle because that’s how I like it, I actually love wearing earthy tones in colder days, I feel like they keep me warm.divisionPara mí, caminar por la ciudad y ver a la gente de color gris, negro y/o marrón es completamente normal y comprensible.
