Another year has gone, another thanks to give

I’m thankful for being born in a country were love and happiness are part of our culture. I’m happy because this culture follows me no matter how far away I am, and makes me feel special.

I’m thankful for my family, who’s always there with me and taught me not to be afraid of the world and always have confidence. I’m thankful for having a mother who’s strong enough to take a second chance in her life and start over. I’m proud of having a sister who hasn’t lost herself in the way of being a young adult.

I’m thankful for finding the man I want to share my life with. I’m blessed for waking every morning by his side. I’m thankful for being in love and being fearless. I’m thankful for the friends that come and go, for the new ones and for those who no matter how far we are, they are still there. I’m thankful for all I’ve learned from them and for having their love around me.

I’m thankful for finding an emotional balance and being happy above all. I’m thankful for another year in which I proved myself to me and to the world. I’m thankful for being able to live every day as I want and where I want, for being bold and for all the adrenaline my body had this year.

But the thing I’m most thankful this year is for what’s yet to come, for the unknown future that waits for me, for all the next adventures I’ll live and for having a plate full of options.
