I wanted to try something different this year, so instead of showing you guys my outfit for New Year’s Eve I’m gonna show you how I achieved this makeup look. I’ve seen this look in a few of beauty gurus but I wanted to give a colorful twist by adding some blue eyeliner to the bottom lash line.
The products I used // Los productos que usé fueron: Naked2 Basics Palette, Revlon ColorStay quad Adventurous, Benefit Stay don’t stray primer, Tarte Deluxe lights, camera, lashes™ 4-in-1 mascara, Elf Brow Combing Brush and Blending Eye Brush , Bissu Golden Glitter Eye Shadow, Jordana Sapphire eyeliner, Elizabeth Mott You’re So FINE Eyeliner, Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush.
I already have my foundation and contouring done, if you’d like to see my foundation and/or conturing routine let me know!
I’m starting with clean eyes and a thin layer of Benefit’s Stay Don’t Stray eyeshadow primer, then with an eyeshadow brush I cover my whole eyelid with a matte pinky-tan color (Naked2 Basics – Shade: Stank). After that, I line my crease with a darker shade, which can be gray or dark brown, but not black. In this case I’m using Undone, from the Naked2 Basics palette, and I just apply it to the outer portion of my eye to create depth. Then, with a fluffy brush I apply a medium brown eyeshadow (Revlon’s Adventurous Medium Brown#3) in the center of my eye and on top of that I use the Bissu Glitter to give it some holidays’ touch.
After that, I blend very well the colors and then I draw a thin line in my bottom lashline with a deep blue eye pencil from Jordana to give it a more playful style and make it look different. To finish the makeup, I use my You’re so FINE eyeliner to make a really thin black line close to my top lashline and I wing it out a little bit to make my eyes look wider. Then I use two coats of my newest favorite mascara from Tarte in both up and lower lashes. Don’t forget to curl your lashes if you need it! Oh! I almost forgot, I also used the lightest color from the Revlon Quad to highlight my eyebrow bone and the inner corner of my eyes.
And that’s it, a colorful and festive look for New Year’s Eve dinner party! Do you like it? I think it looks pretty cute and different, and the best is that you can change the blue eyeliner depending on what suits you better or what you are wearing.
