This is one of my most requested topics to talk about, so I decided to make a full post sharing with you how I take care of my hair, how I style it and how I achieve the so famous messy waves + a review of the Nume Curl Jam Set which I adore.Este es uno de mis temas más solicitados, así que decidí hacer un post completo para compartir con ustedes cómo cuido mi cabello, cómo lo estilizo y cómo logro las tan famosos ondas desordenadas + una reseña del Nume Curl Jam Set que adoro.

HAIR ROUTINE

First, I don’t wash my hair daily, I do it every two days or depending on my activities. This have helped me A LOT because it holds its natural oils for a longer time. I always use shampoo & conditioner according to my hair type (curly – processed) and I’m all over Dry Shampoo to keep it clean on the 2nd or 3rd day of no wash. For extra care or hair treatment I always go for the moisture -because I use a lot of heat and I have dyed hair.Principalmente no me lavo el cabello diario, lo hago cada dos días o dependiendo de mis actividades. Esto me ayuda mucho porque se mantienen sus aceites naturales por más tiempo. Siempre uso champú y acondicionador según mi tipo de cabello (rizado – procesado) y Champú en Seco para mantenerlo limpio en los días de no lavado. Para cuidado especial o tratamiento siempre busco humectar -porque uso mucho calor y me tiño el cabello.[/ezcol_1half_end]

[ezcol_3fifth]As you can see I use just a few products in my routine, because I think it’s all a cycle, if you use a lot of products it’ll get dirtier and you’ll have to wash your hair more. For styling I just use Not Your Mother’s heat protector to help hold the curl and Fructis sleek & shine serum for the tips.Como pueden ver uso pocos productos en mi rutina, porque creo que todo es un ciclo, si utilizas muchos productos se ensuciará más rápido y tendrás que lavar el cabello más seguido. Para estilarlo uso protector de calor de Not Your Mother’s que ayuda a mantener el rizo y aceite anti-frizz de Fructis para las puntas.[/ezcol_3fifth][ezcol_1fifth_end]–[/ezcol_1fifth_end]

 

HAIR STYLING

I always start dividing the hair into four sections and remove any knots before I curl it. Then I spray heat protector from the tips to almost reaching the roots and let it dry for a few seconds. And to star styling I hold the wand vertically, with the tip pointing down, and wrap the section away from my face around the wand for 3-4 secs and repeat until I’m done. To finish up I brush through the curls with my fingers and apply some drops of oil to the tips and mediums.Siempre empiezo dividiendo el cabello en cuatro secciones y elimino los nudos antes de comenzar. Luego roció protector de calor desde las puntas hasta casi llegar a las raíces y lo dejó secar durante unos segundos. Y para peinar pongo el ferro en vertical, con la punta hacia abajo, y envuelvo la sección de cabello hacía afuera de la cara por 3-4 segundos y repito hasta que haya terminado. Para terminar, cepillo con los rizos con los dedos y aplico unas gotas de aceite a las puntas y medios.

Also, you can create a lot of waves depending on how much time you hold the curl against the heat and if you let it cool down before you brush  through.[/ezcol_1half] [ezcol_1half_end]He visto mucha gente que envuelve el cabello en diferentes direcciones pero yo no lo hago porque la mayoría de mis rizos naturales ya tienen una forma y sólo la sigo. También, puedes crear muchos tipos de ondas dependiendo de cuánto tiempo mantengas el rizo contra el calor y si lo dejas enfriar antes de cepillarlos con los dedos.[/ezcol_1half_end]

NUME CURL JAM SET

I loved the set. It comes with 3 different sizes (19mm, 25mm and 32mm) and a flat iron, which I don’t use that much, but it’s there if I need it and works amazingly good. The price might be the only downside, but if you search around you can find 50%+ discounts from youtubers (as I did) or special offers from the brand.

The temperature is great, I only need to hold it for 3-5 seconds and it gives me really natural looking curls. It does take a little bit of time to get use to the clipless system but once you master it, you will love it. The best part is that you can make really cute different kind of curls and the curls hold longer -for real, also it gets nice and hot, very quickly.

It is without a doubt one of the best investments I’ve made. I bought a wand an a flat iron for my mom and sister and they loved it. I even convinced my friend Vivi and she loves it too.

Me encantó el set. Viene con 3 tamaños diferentes (19mm, 25mm y 32mm) y una plancha, que no uso mucho, pero está ahí si la necesito y funciona increíblemente bien. El precio podría ser el único inconveniente, pero si buscas puedes encontrar descuentos de 50% o más con youtubers (como yo) u ofertas especiales de la marca.

La temperatura increíble, sólo tengo que mantenerla durante 3-5 segundos. Sin embargo, toma un poco de tiempo acostumbrarse al sistema sin clip pero una vez que lo domines, te va a encantar. La mejor parte es que puedes hacer todo tipo de rizos y estos se sostienen por más tiempo -lo juro, además se caliente muy rápido.

Es sin duda una de las mejores inversiones que he hecho. Compré una wand y una plancha para mamá y hermana y les encantó. Incluso convencí a mi amigo Vivi y ella la adora también.
