Finally is Metallic Tattoo season! I got into this trend last year, when I was in Santiago visiting Mister P, I started following a lot of bloggers and stores from Chile and I saw a lot of people wearing them, and because I’m a huge fan of anything goldish I wanted to try. After reading a lot about this trend, how it started and everything, I found out that there’s a versión in the market that actually has gold in it! Of course I didn’t buy that one, instead I found Flash Tattoo, that if I’m not wrong, is one of the biggest sellers in the world selling by the premise “jewelry inspired by temporary tattoos”. They look way cooler in beachy situations, but I can’t wait to see how we can manage to make them part of the street style.
I’m so excited because we are finally going to see this trend on the streets, or at least in my city. If it was a huge trend last summer I’m pretty sure this time it will come even harder, because people are now familiar with it. I already have mine -yes, they have been waiting in the closet for half a year and I’m planning on doing some photoshoots using them as a styling tool. So, are you into metallic tatts?
¡Por fin es temporada de tatuajes metálicos! Me adentré en esta tendencia desde el año pasado, cuando estaba en Santiago de Chile visitando a Mister P, empecé a seguir un montón de bloggers y tiendas de Chile y vi un montón de gente que los llevaba y como soy un gran fan de cualquier cosa dorada quería probar. Después de leer mucho sobre esta tendencia, sobre cómo empezó todo y demás, me enteré de que hay una versión en el mercado que realmente tiene oro! Claro que no me compre esos, pero encontré Flash Tattoos que si no me equivoco, es uno de los más vendidos en el mundo y trabajan bajo la premisa de “tatuajes temporales inspiradas en joyas”. Se ven mucho más cool en situaciones playeras, pero no puedo esperar a ver cómo podemos mezclarlo para que sean parte del street style.
Estoy tan emocionada porque finalmente vamos a ver esta tendencia en las calles, o por lo menos en mi ciudad. Fue una tendencia enorme el verano pasado, pero estoy segura de que esta vez será más difícil porque la gente ya está familiarizada con ella. Yo ya tengo los míos -sí, han estado esperando en el closet durante medio año y ya estoy pensando en hacer algunas sesiones y usarlos como parte del styling. Entonces, ¿te gustan los tatts metálicos?
