The southern world

If you follow me on facebook or instagram you may already know about my greatest adventure in 2017 -so far-. Mr. P and I went on a 10 days road trip from Santiago to Chiloe. If you never stop the trip its supposed to be around 16 hours driving. We made 8 stops to sleep and we saw around 18 cities/towns. We kinda put together the route as we advanced and tried to discover little towns and not so touristy places.

It was an amazing visual journey, from the moment we left Santiago the highway took me, my body and mind entered into a state of freedom and adrenaline for the unknown. I was overwhelmed by nature; the smell, the unbelievable landscapes, the strength and how easy it is for a tree and a volcano to look stunning.

I was able to see my first volcano; actually, around 7. I was able to do kayak for the first time, I walked through an amazing forest and saw 3 amazing waterfalls. Also I saw one of the greatest wonders of nature; I saw the freaking milkyway! So, between most of the magical landscape we saw, we took a few minutes to take pictures so I could share some of the southern magic with you.

Si me siguen en Facebook o Instagram ya han de saber sobre mi mayor aventura en 2017, hasta ahora. El Mr. P y yo fuimos de viaje en auto por 10 días desde Santiago a Chiloe. Sin detenerse se supone que el viaje dura unas 16 horas. Hicimos 8 paradas para dormir y conocimos alrededor de 18 ciudades/pueblos. Fuimos armando la ruta a medida que avanzaba y tratamos de descubrir pequeñas ciudades y lugares no tan turístico.

Fue un viaje visual increíble, desde el momento en que salimos de Santiago y estábamos en la carretera, mi cuerpo y mente entraron en un estado de libertad y adrenalina por lo desconocido. Yo estaba abrumada por la naturaleza; el olor, los increíbles paisajes, la fuerza y lo fácil que es para un árbol y un volcán ser impresionantes.

Pude ver mi primer volcán; en realidad, unos 7. Andube en kayak por primera vez, caminé a través de un bosque increíble y vimos 3 cascadas increíbles. También vi una de las mayores maravillas de la naturaleza; ¡la vía láctea! Y bueno, entre toda la magia que vimos, tomamos unos minutos para tomar fotos y poder compartir parte de la magia del sur con ustedes.
