Pleasantvile School We C.A.R.E.

Lately I’ve been really into making easy outfits to be more confortable in busy days, and I’ve learned that there’s noting wrong with mixing comfort with style. Starting with a boyfriend cut pair of jeans I decided to mix my boyfriend’s sweatshirt with a black blazer and use my beloved Aldo Bag to balance the darkness. Also, I wore my new pair of snickers with jungle-like pattern to give it some color-fun. There’s something about my wardrobe that I just can’t keep it simple or ‘basic’. I love, and actually envy, all of those ‘minimalistic’ looks around Instagram or Pinterest, but anytime I assemble an outfit I end up adding something with color or a striking pattern.

Creating an easy-to-wear wardrobe is one of my 2015 purposes, but for now I’m pretty proud of my style evolution troughout the years. If two years ago you had told me that a blazer and a sweatshirt would look good together, first I would’ve laughed and second, I would’ve never even think of wearing it. After taking a look at this pictures I noticed I’m wearing a few things I always denied to use. It’s funny being able to see and accept our own evolution but mostly learn about it and be bold enough to try different things.

Comenzando con unos jeans de corte recto decidí mezclar una sudadera de mi novio con un blazer negro y utilice mi amada bolsa de Aldo para contrarrestar la oscuridad de la parte de arriba del conjunto. También usé mis nuevos tenis con estampado tropical para darle color/diversión al atuendo. Hay algo acerca de mi armario que solo no puedo mantenerlo simple o con básicos. Me encantan, e incluso envidio, todos esos looks ‘minimalistas’ en Instagram y Pinterest, pero cada vez que estoy armando un conjunto termino agregando algo con color o un estampado llamativo.

Crear un guardarropa con looks fáciles de usar es uno de mis propósitos para el 2015, pero por ahora estoy bastante orgullosa de la evolución de mi estilo a través de los años. Si hace dos años me hubieran dicho que un blazer y una sudadera se verían bien juntas, primero me hubiera reído y segundo, jamás hubiera pensado en usarlo. Después de ver estas imágenes me di cuenta de que estoy usando varias cosas que siempre me negué a usar. Es gracioso poder ver y aceptar nuestra propia evolución pero también aprender acerca de ella y ser valiente para intentar cosas distintas.
