Ops I did it again
Llegó la hora del retoque y debo decir que estaba emocionada, me gustó la cosa. Como les dije la vez pasada cuando les conté sobre mi primera vez con botox, este tratamiento debe retocarse cada 4 o 5 meses para seguir viendo el efecto y continuar cumpliendo su función, es así como funciona.
Esta vez tuve mucha más reacciones negativas de su parte, también tuve más preguntas y me di cuenta de que muchas tienen conceptos erróneos, dudas y temores acerca de este tratamiento cosmético. Quiero comenzar con el mayor temor (y el que también tuve cuando fui a Clínica Symmetria por primera vez): NO te verás falsa. Si vas con un buen médico que usa productos de calidad no va a pasar nada malo. O sea, úsenme como ejemplo, cómo se ve mi cara y mis expresiones, si yo no dijera nada, nadie sabría que uso botox.

It’s time to touch up and I must say I was excited, I liked the thing. As I told you the previous time in my post for the first time, botox has to be retouched every 4-5 months or so to continue seeing the effect and continue to fulfill its function, it’s just the way it works.
This time I got way more backlash than the first time, and I also got more questions and I realized that people has a lot of misconceptions, doubts and fears around this cosmetic treatment. I want to start with the biggest fear (and the one I also had when I went to Clinica Symmetria the first time): you will NOT look fake if you go with a good doctor that uses quality products. I mean, just look at me, at how my face looks and if I didn’t say anything no one would know that I use botox.
Ahora que eso está resuelto podemos hablar de la edad. “Eres demasiado jóven para el botox” seguía apareciendo en mis DMs y déjame decirles que no, no soy demasiado joven, en realidad estoy en la edad perfecta para usar botox. Debido a que el botox se usa para prevenir arrugas y marcas para no borrarlas, entonces, si quieres prevenirlas, debes usarlas antes de que aparezcan. Por supuesto, aún puede funcionar después, pero el resultado no será el mismo.

Now that that’s settle we can talk about the age. “You are too young for botox” kept appearing in my DMs and let me tell you, no, I’m not too young, I’m actually in the perfect age to use botox. Because botox is used to prevent wrinkles and marks not to erase them, so, if you want to prevent them you have to use it before they appear. Of course it can still works after, but the result is not going to be the same.

Sinceramente, me enamoré del tratamiento, la verdad que a mi me duele en el momento y unas horas después, pero los resultados son maravillosos. Personalmente no tengo nada contra el envejecimiento, pero no me gusta parecer enojada todo el tiempo, por eso decidí deshacerme de esa arruga. Solo usó botox en mi frente y ceño fruncido y soy fan, fan.

Honestly I just fell in love with the treatment, it does hurts in the moment and few hours after but the results are wonderful. Personally I don’t have anything against ageing but I don’t like looking like I’m upset all the time, that’s why I decided to get rid of that wrinkle, I only use botox in my frown and forehead and I am a fan.
