A very well needed getaway

Even though it wasn’t enough and my mind still goes a thousand miles per hour, it’s always nice to feel the sand in my feet and get a salty hair for a few days. I’ve never liked the beach as much as I do now, I’ve had always taken it for granted, so now that I don’t live near by I just enjoy every second of it. You never know what you have until it’s gone.

For a fun, mind clearing weekend, I like to keep things as simple and light as possible; the less products, clothes and makeup I’m using the better. I like to know I’m capable or narrowing my beauty routine and still do just fine. Using well thought and versatile products helps a lot. Also, my key is to focus on the place I’m visiting; it’s not the same to visit a snowed mountain than a sunny beach. For most of the cases hydration is imperative, plus a good sunscreen and body oils in the last case.

Dynamic duos and holy trios.

The story is the same for my clothes and makeup. I try as much as possible to keep my luggage light and easy to style. For that I have to know a little about the trip schedule and the overall weather. The dynamic duo works a lot for me: keep the base of the look simple with a dress or a romper and then add a statement piece for a fashionable moment which can also work as a coverup for the chilly nights at the beach.

For makeup, I always go to my holy trio: concealer, mascara and some glow. Thanks God, it never fails.

Gracias a Dios, nunca falla.
