One of my recent loves is trekking and adventuring to the unknown, go backpacking or just travel anywhere even if it’s just 2 hours away from my house. I really feel like all of that makes you grow and for me the favorite trips are the less fancy, because, of course I dream with a five star trip in first class, but I feel it’s not as rewarding as walking for hours and meeting a lot of travelers from around the world.
In my visit to Mexico City, we went to Teotihuacan, we walked around the ‘ciudadela’ and we climbed the ‘pyramid of the sun’ and got impregnated by the amazing, interesting and complicated culture of the Aztecs. I’m not going to give you a history class in this post, but I totally recommend you visiting as soon as you can or at least read a little bit about this culture. So now, let’s talk about the outfit. I wanted to be as comfy and sporty as posible, so nothing new here, but what I did realize is that every time I travel somewhere I always carry at least one of my MexicanFashion t-shirts, it’s like my traveler charm or something like that. I wore one of my favorites, because it’s green, it’s cotton made and it fits so comfortably and looks pretty Mexican.
MexicanFashion is a Mexican -no kidding- brand which was born in Tijuana, and now it’s expanding along the country. They have all sort of t-shirts, sweat shirts, caps, beanies and more for both genders, all designed by the talented and Mexican lover: Arturo Vázquez. I’ve been a fan since 2011 and I just love to carry this little piece of Tijuana in all my trips.
Uno de mis nuevos pasatiempos favoritos es hacer caminatas o aventurarme a lo desconocido, ir de mochilazo o solo viajar a donde sea, incluso si es solo a 2 horas de mi casa. Realmente siento que este tipo de viajes te hacen crecer y para mi entre menos lujoso mejor, y claro que sueño con un hotel 5 estrellas y viajar en primera clase, pero siento que a esta edad no es tan gratificante como caminar por horas y conocer otros viajeros del mundo.
En mi visita a la Ciudad de México fuimos a Teotihuacán, caminamos por toda la ciudadela, subimos la Pirámide del Sol y quedamos impregnados con la increíble, interesante y complicada cultura Azteca. No voy a darles una clase de historia en este post, pero les recomiendo totalmente que o visiten o lean un poco sobre esta cultura. Ahora, hablemos del conjunto. Quería estar tan cómoda como fuera posible, así que nada nuevo, pero me di cuenta que cada vez que viajo llevo una de mis camisas de MexicanFashion, es como mi amuleto de viajero o algo así. Use una de mis favoritas, porque es verde, de algodón, queda muy cómoda y se ve bastante ‘piramidesca’ -como dijo Mister P.
MexicanFashion es una marca mexicana -sí, se los juro- que nació en Tijuana y ahora se esta expandiendo por el país. Manejan todo tipo de camisas, sudaderas, gorras, gorritos y más para ambos sexos, todo diseñado por el increíble Arturo Vázquez. Yo he sido fan desde el 2011 y me encanta poder llevar un pedacito de Tijuana conmigo en mis viajes.
