It’s supposed to be winter where I live but, well, it’s not. I can’t wait to live in a city where for at least two straight weeks the weather stays constant, though I have to admit it’s quite entertaining and funny to wake up every day and try to guess what the weather is going to be like. Thanks fashion gods blazers exist, they can be perfect to layer up a look with a lot of style and they are also light enough to wear if there’s a sunny day or to carry them around just in case the sun is shinning but there’s cold wind frizzing your arms.
It’s really interesting how we can get inspired by anything around us, or life itself, and use it. I live near this footbridge (then I realized there’s a lot of them around the city with the same design) and I have always wanted to do a shoot there, but I never liked the combination of my outfit with the complex background. So this day I woke up thinking I wanted to shoot in the bridge, so I mixed the background in my mind with my outfit and in the end I came up with a very simple and effortless look, which also mixes other of my favorite MexicanFashion tee’s which happens to have horizontal lines, that I believe helped creating some balance in the whole composition.
Se supone que estamos en invierno en Tijuana, pero bueno… no. De verdad no puedo esperar a vivir en una ciudad donde el clima sea constante por a lo menos dos semanas, aunque debo de admitir que es divertido levantarte e intentar adivinar como será el clima el día de hoy. Gracias a los dioses de la moda existen los blazers, porque son perfectos para cubrirte con mucho estilo, además que son ligeros como para usarlos aunque haga sol o cargarlos por el día por si acaso se pone un poco helado.
Es muy interesante cómo nos podemos inspirar de cualquier cosa que este a nuestro alrededor y usarla. Vivo cerca de este puente (aunque después vi que hay varios iguales en la ciudad) y siempre quise tomarme fotos aquí, pero nunca me gustó la combinación de mi ropa con el diseño complejo. Así que este día me desperté pensando que quería tomar las fotos en el punte, así que mezcle el fondo con mi conjunto y al final resultó este look muy simple y sin esfuerzo en el que usé otra de mis camisas favoritas de Mexican Fashion que también tiene lineas pero horizontales, que creo ayudan a mantener un balance con toda la composición.
